BASIC SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPANTS TO THE LUXURY PICTURE CONTEST

1. The Luxury Picture Contest(s), are open for online submissions only. After paying your entrance fee to the Luxury Picture Contest, you are automatically enabled to participate in the type of Contest and Category that you’ve previously chosen, but you have to follow all the steps described the Luxury Picture Contest Registration Process – Steps in order to complete your Registration.

2. If you pay your entrance fee to another Luxury Picture Contest(s), you are also enabled to participate in that contest.

3. The person who is going to submit the contest must be 18 years older or more. Under 18 years is not allowed.

4. Pictures submitted must be at least 1200 pixels on the shorter side, and there is no limit on the longer side. Please, submit pictures only in High-Resolution.

5. Depending on the ticket price, for the Photography Categories Contest or the 2D/3D Picture Categories Contest, the participant can submit 3/6 or 9 Pictures. You can submit less Pictures than your Ticket Price, but you cannot submit more pictures than your Ticket allows. By submitting more pictures you are increasing your chances of winning. You cannot upload files, you must to submit links previously uploaded to your social networks. Read below. The participants can submit in any of the three Subcategories shown on the Main Contest Page.

If you buy a ticket for another Contest you’ll be able to participate in both Contest at the same time. How to know if one Contest is already running? Easy, you’ll see the counter/timer on the Contest Page.

6. You are required to provide a Unique Title & Description for each Picture submitted on your Social Network(s). The Title & Description must describe the Picture only, not the author of the Picture. But the title and description that you decide must be related to the category you previously chose. Example titles: “My fashion life on the morning”, “Drawing my holidays”.

7. The same picture cannot be submitted for more than one contest at the same time. Pictures that have won previous awards, including Lacantus Store’s prior contests, may be submitted again (once the Contest where they were submitted before has finished). The pictures could have been taken or made in the past, but you will need (at least) one proof of each of them (explained below step 8-).

8. All submitted pictures must be originals and if they contain a proof that was taken or created by the participant, they will be taken into account by the judges when choosing the winners. The photo or video as proof does not need to have the same size or dimensions as the Participant Picture, and does not need to be taken with the same camera as the Participant Picture, to recognize the artist’s footprint.

9. The original EXIF metadata information for photos are not mandatory for the Photography Categories. However there must be no border(s), logo(s), copyright marks, identifying marks, or any other visible references and/or marks on any of the Participant Pictures.

10. All the pictures/photos submited must be 100% uniques and originals created by the author/participant. Any attempt to copy, steal or use non-original material will be immediately disqualified, and the entry fee will not be refunded.

The entrant must be the sole copyright owner of all Pictures or Photographs entered and for Photographs must have obtained permission of any people featured in the entries (or their parents/guardians if children under 16 are featured). Further, the entrant must not have breached any laws when creating their pictures or taking their photos.

11. Luxury Picture Contest – Photos Basic editing: including colour enhancement, the use of filters, and cropping of the Photos(s) is acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the Photos(s).

12. Luxury 2d/3d Picture Contest – Basic editing (2D Drawing, Illustration, etc, or 3D Renders): including colour enhancement, the use of filters, and cropping of the Photos(s) is acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the Pictures(s).

13. Luxury Picture Contest – Photos Advanced editing: used to create illusions, deceptions and/or manipulations, and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame is only allowed for Fashion & Style category, but for Glamour & Luxury and Travels & Holidays categories is prohibited.

13. Luxury 2d/3d Picture Contest – Pictures Advanced editing: used to create illusions, deceptions and/or manipulations, and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame is only allowed for the Luxury 2d/3d Picture Contest.

14. Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environmental violation, and/or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions and practices of any kind, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded.

15. A participant who submits any such photos may be permanently banned, subject to Lacantus Store’s discretion, from participating in any future contests.


 

BASIC SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPANTS TO THE LUXURY 6O SECONDS VIDEO CONTEST

1. The Luxury 60 Seconds Video Contest(s), are open for online submissions only. After paying your entrance fee to the Luxury 60 Seconds Video Contest(s), you are automatically enabled to participate in the contest and category that you’ve chosen, but you have to follow all the steps described in the “Luxury 60 Video Contest Registration Process – Steps” to complete your registration.

2. If you pay your entrance fee to another Luxury 60 Seconds Video Contest(s), you are also enabled to participate in that contest.

3. The person who is going to submit the Luxury 60 Seconds Video Contest(s) must be 18 years older or more. Under 18 years is not allowed.

4. Videos submitted to the Luxury 60 Seconds Video Contest(s) must be 60 seconds of duration (1 minute). They can be less than 60 seconds, until 30 seconds, but they can’t be more than 60 seconds. The Video(s) must be at least 720 pixels on the shorter side, and there is no limits on the longer side. They can be 3k or 4k of resolution as well.

5. Depending on the ticket price, for the Real Life Video Categories Contest or the 2D/3D Video Categories Contest, the participant can submit 1/2 or 3 Videos. You can submit less Videos than your Ticket Price, but you cannot submit more Videos than your Ticket allows. By submitting more Videos you are increasing your chances of winning. You cannot upload files, you must to submit links previously uploaded to your social networks. Read below. Advanced editing used to create illusions, deceptions and/or manipulations (3D or Visual Effects also called FXs), and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame/video is only allowed for the “Tell a Story – Video / Real Life Video Category” and for all the “2D/3D Video Category”. In other words for the “2D/3D Video Category” you are free to mix the real world with 3D elements and Visual Effects.

12. For the “Tell a Story – Video” and the “Tell a Story 2D / 3D Video”  it is mandatory to create a story. But for the other videos you are free to create just a beautiful and artistic video edition / render presentation / promotion / etc.

13. Only Original or Non-Copyrighted Sound Effects and Music are allowed for all the Categories and Subcategories of Videos.

14. Participants Videos that portray or otherwise includes inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environmental violation, and/or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions and practices of any kind, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded/removed.

15. A participant who submits any such Videos may be permanently banned, subject to Lacantus Store’s discretion, from participating in any future Contests.

1. The Luxury 60 Seconds Music Contest(s), are open for online submissions only. After paying your entrance fee to the Luxury 60 Seconds Music Contest(s), you are automatically enabled to participate in the contest and category that you’ve chosen, but you have to follow all the steps described in the Luxury 60 Music Contest Registration Process – Steps to complete your Registration.

2. If you pay your entrance fee to another Luxury Lacantus Contest(s), you are also enabled to participate in that contest.

3. The person who is going to submit the Luxury 60 Seconds Music Contest(s) must be 18 years older or more. Under 18 years is not allowed.

4. Music or Song(s) submitted to the Luxury 60 Seconds Music Contest(s) must be 60 seconds of duration (1 minute). They can be less than 60 seconds, until 30 seconds, but they can’t be more than 60 seconds. The Song(s) must be Stereo (or more) at least 44.1 kHz or more, 16 bit or more.

5. Depending on the ticket price, for the Original Song Categories Contest or the VideoClip Categories Contest, the participant can submit 1/2 or 3 Songs or VideoClips. You can submit less Videos than your Ticket Price, but you cannot submit more Videos than your Ticket allows. You cannot upload files, you must to submit links previously uploaded to your social networks. The participants can submit in any of the three Subcategories shown on the Main Contest Page.

6. As we mentioned above, you are required to provide a Unique Title & Description for each Song(s) submitted to the Luxury 60 Seconds Music Contest(s) on our Lacantus Contest page. The Title & Description must describe the Song(s) only, not the author of the Song(s).

7. The same song(s) cannot be submitted to the Luxury 60 Seconds Music Contest(s) for more than one contest at the same time. Songs that have won previous awards, including Lacantus Store’s prior contests, may be submitted again (once the Contest where they were submitted before has finished).

8. All submitted songs to the Luxury 60 Seconds Music Contest(s) must be originals, and if they contain a proof that was created or composed by the participant, they will be taken into account by the judges when choosing the winners. However there must be no border(s), logo(s), copyright marks, identifying marks, or any other visible references and/or marks on the Participant Song(s) and the Photo(s)/Video(s) proof.

9. Any attempt to copy, steal or use non-original material will be immediately disqualified, the entry fee will not be refunded and the participant will not have any chance of receiving any awards. Original Song Category: If you want to include or combine your song(s) with videos or pictures is allowed, but for this category, the juges will take into account only the participant song(s).

Original Song Category & VideoClips Category: The entrant must be the sole copyright owner of all video(s) / song(s) entered and must have obtained permission of any people featured in the entries (or their parents/guardians if children under 16 are featured). Further, the entrant must not have breached any laws when making their video(s) / song(s).

10. Advanced editing used to create illusions, deceptions and/or manipulations (3D or Visual Effects also called FXs), and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame/video is allowed for the VideoClip Category & Subcategories. It’s also allowed for the Original Song Category, but the video will not be taken into account for Lacantus judges.

11. Only original or non-copyrighted sound effects are allowed. The use of sound effects should not be used excessively, because the most important thing for the Original Song Category is the Music. For the VideoClip Category everything is the most important (Image / Video, Sound Effects & Music).

12. Original Song Category: Songs could be composed using any physical instruments, could be created digitally, or could be just a simple “acapella”, use your imagination and creativity.  Idem for the VideoClip Category background music.

13. Participants Song(s) / VideoClip(s) that portray or otherwise includes inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environmental violation, and/or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions and practices of any kind, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded/removed.

14. A participant who submits any such Video(s) / Song(s) may be permanently banned, subject to Lacantus Store’s discretion, from participating in any future contests.
